The Yi Qi is a species of scansoriopterygid dinosaur that lived in China during the Late Jurassic period, 160 million years ago. It has bat-like wings that, It had a wingspan of 60 centimeters long and a skull that is less than 4 cm. Yi Qi is estimated to weigh about 380 grams (0.84 pounds). Yi Qi, or Yi for short, was discovered by a farmer in 2007, in Qinglong County, Hebei of China, The name Yi Qi means "Strange Wing" (in mandarin, thanks to researchers).
