Chroniosuchus is an extinct genus of chroniosuchid reptiliomorph from upper Permian (upper Tatarian age) deposits of Arkhangelsk, Orenburg and Vologda Regions, Russia.[1] It was first named by Vjuschkov in 1957 and the type species is Chroniosuchus paradoxus.[1] The genus Buzulukia, named in 1957 on the basis of osteoderms, is considered a synonym of Chroniosuchus.
Chroniosuchus had a length of about 1.5 m (4.92 feet).
